Don’t leave a mate behind. There are many ways to help.

Things can go wrong for even the most forward planning of people. Partners get serious illnesses, children cannot be cared for, someone can be the victim of crime, another struck by natural disaster or accident. At times like these serving members of The Regiment and their families need the support of the regimental family.

The Foundation is often the last safety net. We can provide assistance in the form of financial grants to alleviate some of the stress – within hours!

PLEASE help us help comrades in The Regiment through difficult times. You can donate as a 1-off or regularly using the link here or by other methods below…

Duty First

Things go wrong and your generosity ensures a mate is not left behind coping alone with unforeseeable trauma.

Will Giving

A bequest or gift through your will is a wonderful way to enhance the assistance we can provide members of the Regiment and their families in need. Your gift, no matter how much, will make a difference to our ability to help the Regimental family.

Gifts in your will (also known as bequests) can take the form of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, a percentage of a specific asset in your estate (such as real estate or shares), the bequest of a specific asset or momento, or the residual value of your estate after you have provided for your family and/or other beneficiaries.

You can document your bequest using a solicitor or a Will Kit available online or at a Newsagency and your Will can be stored in a safe place such as a Will Bank or Will Safe in your state guarded by The Public Trustee.

Details to include are as follows:
Royal Australian Regiment Foundation
PO Box 3596 Griffith ACT 2603
ABN: 31 055 902 433

Workplace Giving

You can donate a portion of your salary or your loose change after your expenses are deducted on a regular basis using pay splits through Workplace Giving.

Any donations you make are pre-tax meaning you get that much needed tax deduction immediately.

Some companies will match your donation dollar for dollar so ask HR if they would consider this, particularly if your workplace includes other members of the Regiment.

Celebration Giving

You can ask family and friends to donate to The Foundation in your honour to celebrate your birthday or other milestone.

Gifts In Memory

Donating as a gift in memory of a member of the Regimental family is a wonderful gesture that will directly improve the welfare of the Regiment.
